The Placement of the Drawbar in both the tools

The drawbar in the BK tool holder is found on the outer surface of the retention knob that holds the spindle together, but the drawbar in the HSK tool holder is placed inside the shank.  HSK tool holders are, in fact, much faster in rotation than BK tool holders. This is because the grip of the HSK tool holder is much stronger and holds on to the machinery giving more effect to the centrifugal force.


Major Differences between BK tool holder and HSK tool holder

Though the speed of a BK tool holder is not as fast as the HSK tool holder, it is still smooth and has a good balance during the high function. Its symmetrical finishes in the axis gain big attention and acceptance.  The BK tool holder has more control than the HSK tool holder. However, the HSK tool holder has a strong and smooth surface finish because of its stiffness and repeatability. It has better radical stability than the BK tool holder.
